We ride in the countryside and climb up to an old village which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1953. This ride shows you the beautiful rural areas that Kefalonia has to offer.

day 4

This ride takes us to four old villages destroyed by the earthquake where we can enjoy a great view over the valley and the cypress tree forrest. We pass some other ancient historic buildings to get a feeling for how life in Greece was back then.

day 5

We go to the monastery Fanentes which is located high up in the mountains and offers a fantastic view over Lefkas and Ithaca.

day 6

We ride up to the mountains and then afterwards down to the sea for a break where experienced riders can take the horses for a swim.

On our way back to the stables we pass a big olive plantation in the valley, an old donkey trail next to a riverbed with some beautiful historic buildings and a bridge from the seventeenth century.
